Megan Bowling, age 36, passed away on Sunday December 27, 2020. She was born in Knoxville, TN on March 20, 1984.  After spending her early years in the Knoxville area, she moved with Karla to metro Atlanta at the age of 6.  Megan grew up in Cobb County and attended North Cobb Christian School for most of her High School.  At NCCS she was a good student and active in Student Government, Softball, and Captain of the Cheerleading Squad.  She graduated from NCCS in May, 2002.

Megan made her home in the metro-Atlanta area until moving to Chattanooga, TN in mid-2019.  While there, she was invaluable in helping to care for her Mimi until her death in August of last year.   Megan had a sparkle in her eyes, and a beautiful, natural smile that she could display at-will for pictures.  She loved music, the beach, drama, and her family.

Megan was preceded in death by her great grandparents - CD & Neta Mae McCarter, her grandparents - Nancy Suttles, Lawrence & Chris Bowling, her cousin Marc Grimm, her uncle Mark Woodlief, and her son Micah Kelly.  She is survived by her parents Tim and Karla Bowling, her sister Sarah Bowling, her brothers Matthew and Noah Bowling, all of Kennesaw, GA; her Aunt Kim Woodlief of Signal Mountain, TN; her Aunt & Uncle Kelly and Jeremy Owens of Chattanooga, TN and cousins – Mitchell & Stacy Grimm, Stellena Morelock, Anderson Hall, Harrison Hall, Jake Woodlief, Cooper Woodlief, Katie Beth Woodlief, Hannah Owens, and Bradley Owens.
