I remember the first time we met she told me I was her daughter as well so to call her mama too. That warmed my heart that she so willingly and lovingly invited me into her heart. She was funny, and loving. The spirit of God rested upon her so much that I never forgot how she made me feel from our first encounter. Reply to this comment

Maw treated my son Ethan as her own grandson. They welcomed him into their home and loved him like their own. I will never forget the love she showed my son. My heart hurts for the loss for the ones remaining. Love this family, they are very special to us. Reply to this comment

My sister had the sweetest nature and kindest heart and was loved by so many. My heart hurts and I will miss her dearly but I know without a doubt she is with our Heavenly Father with a brand new body. Reply to this comment

Maw was such an amazing GOD fearing and loving wife to Skip, mother to Dee Dee and Bubba, and Grandmother to ALL her grandchildren! My family was lucky and fortunate to be able to call her maw as well and to have been accepted as family by her! This family will always have a special place in our hearts and she will be dearly missed by all that knew her and loved her. Never in all the time that I knew her did she ever have a negative word about anyone, she was always so positive. We love you Maw and you will forever be missed, enjoy those streets of gold and we will see you soon! Reply to this comment
