Billy Joe (Bill) Bennett Sr., 79, of Rydal, Georgia, passed away September 19, 2017. Bill was born to Mr. Charlie Cone Bennett and Mrs. Eva Helton Bennett on March 20, 1938. Mr. Bennett was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him. Mr. Bennett was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Charlie Cone Bennett; his mother, Eva Helton Bennett; brother, J.C. Bennett; sister, Ruthell Crook; sister, Alene Cornwell; sister, Dorothy Jean McEver. Mr. Bennett is survived by his loving wife, Faye Bennett; son, Bill Bennett Jr.; granddaughter, Cassie Bennett; sister-in-law, Carol Nix; brother-in-law, Harold Nix; and several nieces and nephews.
