I think of Laurel often. I left a comment awhile back but wanted to express my gratitude for meeting such a beautiful soul. She gave me one of her beautiful crystals and I carry it often. A good heart and good soul, one that I aspire to be like – her memory reminds me to be a better person and to always keep a positive perspective. I feel lucky to have known her. Miss you and will forever appreciate you, Laurel! Reply to this comment

I apologize that I was unaware of her passing until just now. My prayers flow to her family. She was a joy to work with over the years on her events... Reply to this comment

I'm so sorry to hear this news. I worked with Laurel well over 20 years from the Kennesaw concert series on through Pigs & Peaches each year. I knew during this last summer she wasn't feeling well and I was really worried. After not hearing from her after I sent her a couple of messages for Christmas and New Year's, that wasn't like her not to respond. I was fearing the worst but hoping for the best. She was a very talented artist and a very good person, and she will be greatly missed. Reply to this comment

Laurel was such a delightful person. Each year we would work together on Touch-A-Truck when our company would bring a wheel loader. She was so excited, helpful, and encouraging. I just sent an email to her to Plan for this year’s TAT. So sorry she’s gone and won’t be there March 10th for this TAT! We both enjoyed the children enjoying the machines. Reply to this comment

I met Laurel almost a year ago while volunteering to work the Valentines Dance at Kennesaw Parks & Recreation. I have never met such a sweet and caring person and even though we were complete strangers she made me feel like I'd known her my whole life. She had a genuine aura that could make anyone feel at ease and I remember how much we had in common. I will be forever grateful for the tim she took out of her day to help me and look over my resume and even made suggestions on what color I should wear to interviews! She had a thing for colors, much like myself, and i felt an instant connection with her spirit. I can only hope to be as caring, kind-hearted, positive, creative, and full of life as she was. I will miss her very much and the world lost a beautiful soul that I'm so thankful to have been blessed to know. I will hold her memory close to my heart. Reply to this comment

Laurel was such a blessing to me and my family for years. She dropped by my house a couple years back and knocked on the door. She told me that my son was one of her favorite when she oversaw the camps for the City of Kennesaw. She spoke so highly of him and it is something I will never forget. She was so kind when my other son passed away a year ago. She was a real gem. One the City will miss tremendously. I spoke with her a couple months back, checking on her. She sounded great so I was so sad to hear she had passed. I pray she is in the arms of Jesus our Lord and Savior. In Christ Carlene Fregeolle Reply to this comment
