On an early fall morning at Mizzou in 1977, Curt asked me what I was doing that afternoon. “Nothing” was my reply. He told me to come to a rugby practice, and from there we were teammates at Mizzou & Old White, roommates in Atlanta, and had countless great memories together. You will never be able to say “the shenk” was boring. I miss him already, and heartfelt condolences to Barb, Erin & Kyle. Reply to this comment

Curt was always one of my favorite fellow players with OWRFC. Even in the heat of a game, he was smiling - and we'd get to the post game event, he'd be giving his "beaver call". Rest In Peace Rugger! Prayers for himand his family! May his joy for life live in our hearts all of our days. Reply to this comment

For many years Curt and I were very close as rugby teammates and best buds. We were roommates and even owned a condo together. Later our families spent every holiday together and our kids grew up as best friends. We played a lot of tennis and he was also an excellent handball player. Above all, he had a quirky sense of humor that often left me in stitches. I will miss you buddy. Reply to this comment

Curt, you have left me with so many fond memories growing up and living together at Mizzou that will forever stay with me. I regret that we lived so far apart in our later years and never got to accomplish that reunion that we had talked about many times on the phone. Rest in peace my kind hearted cousin, friend, and housmate. Reply to this comment
