David Lee Miller, Sr. age 82 of Kennesaw, GA passed away on January 26, 2020. David was a huge supporter of Kennesaw State University Athletics.  He enjoyed his involvement in the Coaches Club and was very passionate about the Baseball and Football programs.  David served in the United States Air Force, serving in Vietnam.  He retired in 1975 as a Master Sargent and during his tenure he received the Vietnam Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Meritorious Service Medal and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal.  He will be honored for his dedication and commitment at his Internment Service.

David was born on May 10, 1937 to Delbert and Wilma (Terrell) Miller and his sister Phyllis Jean, whom he has now joined together with in Heaven.  David is survived by his son David Lee Miller, Jr., wife Jolene and his grandchildren, Bryant and Hannah Miller.  His brother Wayne Miller, wife Veronica and their sons David, John and Brian.  David will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and his many colleagues and friends of KSU.

Services for David will be held on February 4, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Georgia Funeral Care at 4671 S. Main Street, Acworth, GA 678-574-3016.  Internment Service at 2:00 p.m. at the Georgia National Cemetery, 101 Scott Huegens Drive, Canton, GA
