Donald Frank (Don) Barnes, 73, of Acworth, Ga was called home on September 19, 2019. Mr. Barnes was born in Atlanta, Ga and joined the USMC from 1964-1968.

He served his Country honorably in The Vietnam War. He retired from Coca Cola Co in 2012 where he worked as a mechanic for 34 years. Mr. Barnes is survived by his wife of 29 years, Freda Barnes of Acworth, two daughters, Cassandra Shelby (David), Tori Stansberry (Alan), son, David Reese (Lori), 4 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 1 great-grandson & two sisters, Janet Metcalf of Jacksonville, Fl. and Lois Faye Wist ofMillersville, Maryland.
