Glenn William Cline, age 69, of Cartersville, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2018, following a brief illness.  He was born November 1, 1948 to William (Bill) Roscoe Cline and Bessie Mae Ferguson Cline, who preceded him in death.  He is survived by his sister, Betty Jean Carducci (Sam), nephews Rod Dabbs (Sandy) and Danny Carducci (Amy), niece Vicki Maxson (John) and four great nieces, Isabella Carducci, Amanda, Hannah and Sarah Maxson.

Glenn, served proudly in the United States Army in the Vietnam War.  He was awarded the Silver Star on December 22, 1970 for “Gallantry in action involving conflict with an armed hostile enemy force in the Republic of Vietnam.” He was also awarded a Purple Heart.

A Memorial Service will be conducted, with full Military Honors, on Monday, June 4, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Emerson United Methodist Church. The family will receive visitors at the church beginning at 1:30 p.m.
