Helen Keller Milton, age 91, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019. She was born on February 16, 1928, in College Park, GA and was one of four children of the late James and Liller Keller. She worked at Montag Company and was the wife of a City of Atlanta police officer and minister at Hyatt Memorial United Methodist Church.
She was a member of Kennesaw United Methodist Church. Her love for her friends and family brought her such joy and caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was certainly her favorite thing to do. She was a generous, loving, Christian lady with a sense of humor that brightened everyone’s day.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Carvel L. Milton, sisters Frances Robinson and Mildred Arrington, and brother James Keller. She is survived by her children, Steve and Nancy Milton, Mike Milton, and Mark Milton. She is also survived by her grandchildren Nicki and Matthew Underwood, Jeff and Erin Milton, Randi and Maria Milton, Todd and Megan Milton, and Troy and Hannah Milton. She also leaves behind nine great-grandchildren, Emma, Abby, Ellie, Grace, Bennett, Skyler, Brady, Jaxson, and Amelia.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Westview Cemetery, 1680 Westview Drive, SW, Atlanta, GA 30310.
