Marvin Shepler, age 85, of White, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 12, 2022.  Marvin was born May 18, 1937, in Michigan.  He was the son of Ronald and Dana Shepler. He enlisted in the United States Navy and served his country for four years until his honorable discharge. He was the loving husband of Helen Shepler of 44 years. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Diana Markley, and brother-in-law, Sam Haines.  He is survived by his five children Connie (Mark) Hull, Bob (Leona) Shepler, Jackie (Mike) Cooper, Joyce (Bub) Holmes, and Brenda (Tim) Phelps and one stepson, Brian Havens; sister, Janice Klein; brother, Ron Shepler; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held July 7, 2022, at 9:00 am, with Jim Schlicht officiating, at the Georgia National Cemetery. Please leave condolences for the family at www.GeorgiaFuneralCare.com

Went to country grade school west of Forest Hill Mi. Lived just across the mile from the Shepler family. Sorry to hear the news. Nice family often wondered about them. Reply to this comment

I'm sorry that Uncle Marvin has passed, but I know that he is now at peace. I'll remember him for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to lend a hand with a pleasant smile. Reply to this comment
