Phyllis Diane Clute, 58, of the Acworth area, passed away Sunday, Nov 22, 2020 with family members by her side.  She had suffered through a long illness, and now is at peace and rest.

She was born in Marietta on Oct 2, 1962. She is survived by parents, Margie & Robert Clute of Kennesaw, sister Elaine Elrod of Cumming and longtime partner Dallas Vandersommen. Also surviving are sons, Robert Joseph Earwood & Nathan Lee Earwood and many grandchildren and nieces. She graduated from Cass High School and spent all her adult life in Bartow County.

She had many interests in her life including fishing, dried flower arranging and collecting rocks from the many states she visited. She loved flowers and gardening. She made friends easily and kept many over long periods. Most recently she worked at Ingles in Acworth for over 10 years and had many friends there. 

Arrangements are being handled by Georgia Funeral Care in Acworth, but due to the current pandemic, a decision was made to postpone a memorial service at this time. A celebration of her life will be planned at a later date probably in the spring. Her bright smile and forgiving attitude will be forever greatly missed by all her family members and friends.
