Zeke, my friend from high school, I will never forget how, in spite of you own health problems, you made the effort to go to my sister Gloria's funeral last year. It was so good to see you and to keep in touch through Facebook and phone calls. May God bless you. Please keep us in your prayers as we will you. Reply to this comment

Zeke was a good friend for 25+ years, starting with many laughs and good times in the choir at Church of Our Saviour and ending with pleasant banter about the recipes he endlessly posted on Facebook. I'll always remember the mutual happiness we shared when a few years ago he found the cake recipe that allowed me to use my grandmother's antique lamb mold successfully! I look forward to meeting him again in the larger life. Godspeed and joy to you, dear friend. Your "aches and pains" are no more, and I'm glad - but I will surely miss you. Every Easter we'll pray over "your cake" for your peaceful rest and joy in the presence of our God. Love you! Reply to this comment
