Terry Sue Huie passed away in her sleep Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the age of 75. She is preceded in death by her parents, Barnett and Ione Huie, and her dear friend, Susan Wigg.
Terry leaves her sisters, Esther East of Bay Point, CA. and Mary Pipkin of Aztec, NM. Her nephews; Andrew (Karen) House of Washington, DC, Donald East (Betty) of Dyersburg, TN, Timothy (Wilma) House of Farmington, NM, and Larry East of Bay Point, CA. Her nieces; Janet East of Bay Point, CA, Audry (Thomas) House of Texhoma, OK, Mary Ann (Clayton) Peterson of Marquette, MI – and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Terry worked as an LVN at Doctor’s Hospital in Pinole, CA, and retired from Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, CA. After retiring, Terry moved back to Pittsburg, CA, and worked for County Connection as an ADA Specialist for Paratransit Services.
Terry then settled in Acworth, GA, in the early 2000s, where she attended Calvary Baptist Church and loved her God and her church family.
Terry was not the type of person to sit still – she was always on the go. She would call and say, “let’s go to Reno or Las Vegas” at the last minute, and off you would go. Terry loved ball games, playing golf, card games, camping, and cruising. She treasured her dogs and helped people whenever she could. She was always the life of the party!
The family would like to thank Dana Long for being an Angel from God and helping us with Terry. You will be a part of our family forever. Thank you to her husband, Jeff, as well.
