Gerry was one of a few people that sat with me while I lay very ill in the hospital. Even then he showed that “wicked sense of humor”, always keeping me on my toes. He loved to laugh and joke but you always knew where he stood on issues and how important Terri was to him, she was in every conversation he had. Even after moving back to Oklahoma we chatted from time to time, my favorite was getting him going on “Bama” football!!! One of the truly good people this world was blessed with, you will be missed, love you buddy!!! Reply to this comment

I met Gerry and Terri as their veterinarian for all of their sweet little dogs! We always had the best visits because he was funny and we both loved their little dogs. I am a Bulldawg fan and he loved the Crimson Tide! Such a great rivalry- even more now. We both loved college football so much and even had a few bets, as I recall. You will be missed, Gerry! I know you will still root for your Tide from heaven! Reply to this comment

I met Gerry through Terri and later helped him get settled in his un-retirement when he went to work for Lockheed Martin to help assist the FAA Flight Procedures Team. I remember him as a kind, honest and loving man who was sharp as a tack. Gerry was a man worth looking up to no matter what your age or stature in life. Last words I said to him is to remember that God loves him even when he may think He might not. It was an honor knowing you....fair winds and following seas shipmate. Reply to this comment

Goodby Gerro. I'll miss your sense of humor the most. You were that "where do we bury the body" kind of friend who inspired great loyalty and kinship. I've lost a brother from another mother. So long "Tango Juliet" Roll Tide! Reply to this comment

I was saddened to hear of Gerry's passing. I hadn't talked to him in five years since I left Georgia. About two weeks ago, I decided to contact him. We spoke about his family and his doggies... and he sadly told me about his condition. Sorry for your loss Terri, sleep peacefully Gerry. Reply to this comment

TJ, you will always be remembered for the kind, happy go lucky man that you are. The times we had together at LZU can never be erased. Almost stripping down to our underwear to work traffic when the air conditioning broke down. Judging the pilots landing, and calling traffic on birds as a "frock of grease". Calm winds and smooth seas my friend. Love you..... Reply to this comment
