Dr. Suzan Rossi

Dr. Suzan Rossi, age 67, crossed into the light March 06, 2023, surrounded by her family, at her home in Acworth, GA.

Suzan was born on July 03, 1955, to Mary Louise (Whitson) and W. Robert Resler at a U.S. Army base in Munich, Germany. She was born the first of 6 siblings. There were both wonderful parts and difficult times in her childhood years, of which she attested, would help her to find the meaning and purpose of her life’s journey.

Some of the golden moments of her childhood, was her teen years in Illinois. During these years she found friendships that would last throughout her lifetime. It was these very friends that would convince her to sneak into a bar called, Al’s Lounge (underage). Little did she know that this decision would change the course of her life. On “wine burger night” she would meet her future husband and father of her children, Armand Rossi.

While dating Armand, Suzan attended with him a chiropractic seminar called “Dynamic Essentials”. It was this seminar that sparked in Suzan her newfound purpose and future career in Chiropractic. Chiropractic called to Suzan —through loving, through serving, through supporting the innate healing of the human body. After her marriage in 1974, she followed this calling and moved to Marietta, Georgia to attend Life College of Chiropractic (now known as Life University) to pursue her doctorate in Chiropractic. A few years and two children later (December 1981), Dr. Suzan Rossi graduated with honors from the program.

Suzan was excited to begin her Chiropractic career and accepted an associate position in Phoenix, AZ. Refining her skills as a Doctor of Chiropractic over 15 years, Suzan worked tirelessly to perfect her own “art of adjusting” under the guidance of Reach Chiropractic, then in her own practice, Rossi Chiropractic Life Center. During this time, she was blessed by serving up to 300 patients per day.

Loving and serving so many patients helped Suzan to have a profound understanding of humanity. She intimately connected to those she served and by doing this, her patients felt “understood” and “seen” -- sometimes for the first time in their lives. She became known to hold patients upon their first meeting as they wept in her arms. Suzan became more than “just” a chiropractor, she became a facilitator for acceptance of self and for accelerating positive change in people’s lives. Most importantly, she recognized that every life she had the honor of touching, her life was equally touched and graced. As she worked to support others healing and growth, she dove in as equally present and as vulnerable to heal and love her own self.

As Suzan found her way back to Georgia, she began what she would call her “retirement practice”. This practice began with adjusting a few friends in her living room, to adjusting some friends of friends, then their friends of friends, and so on. This grew so quickly and so big that she was pushed to open an official practice again, this time in Marietta, GA. As she excitedly worked and loved her patients in her new space, she spent her free time traveling throughout the world, studying, and training in ancient culture, philosophy, and in the ancient healing arts. Suzan recognized that in these arts, were healing possibilities that so many in her community could also use to support their own healing journey. Thus, Dr. Suzan became an ordained minister, practitioner, and instructor of multiple ancient Mayan advanced healing arts.

With the combination of her Mayan healing training, chiropractic background, further science, faith, love and passion, Dr. Suzan founded a platform of healing support called The Church of Self Mastery as well as her own healing modality known as ‘The Quickening,’ Accelerated Conscious Evolution. Her final 20 years she spent sharing her wisdom and knowledge – individually and in the classroom setting, training thousands of young chiropractors and alternative healing arts practitioners from all over the world.

In 2018, Dr. Suzan retired from her “retirement practice” and focused on giving back to her community in other ways through her “Philosophy Nights,” Facebook Live talks, and other speaking engagements. Suzan loved laughing with her children, grandchildren, friends, and neighbors. In her personal time, Suzan became passionate for her study of the Mandarin language and logged over a 1000-day streak on her language app. She reveled in the newest K-dramas and became a self-proclaimed “fan girl” of the Korean boy band BTS which kept her uplifted and inspired for humankind even in her final moments.

Dr. Suzan Rossi is survived by her adoring children - Jenina (Daniel) Smith and Drs. Aaron (Brigitte) Rossi; beloved grandchildren – Alex Rossi, Bailey Smith, Avery Reich, Brady Smith, Liam Rossi, Evianna Rossi, and Kayla Smith; devoted siblings – Stephen Resler, Gregory Resler, Shirley Resler (Richard Tennis), and David Resler; cherished aunt, uncle, cousins, nieces, and nephews; countless friends, apprentices, and students. Suzan was predeceased by her (father) W. Robert Resler, (mother) Mary Louise Resler, and (brother) Mark Resler.

Dr. Suzan's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her, understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time of her years on Earth.

Services will be held April 1st, 2023, at 3 pm EST Unity North Atlanta 4255 Sandy Plains Rd, Marietta, GA 30066
