On Monday, November 7th, 2022, Mrs. Barbara Ann Wood Davenport passed away at the age of 76. She was born on April 4, 1946, in Taylorsville GA to the late Clarence and Gladys Wood.
Barbara was saved on April 8th, 1974, and is a member of Olive Vine Baptist Church in Rydal, GA.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband (Howard M. Davenport) whom she married in 1964, 3 brothers William, Harold, and C.W. Wood, and 2 sisters Joyce Bagley, and Lisa Flowers.
She is survived by her children Sandra Davenport Cline (late Jeff D. Cline), and Gary M. Davenport, both of Cartersville. Her grandchildren Keri Cline Ireland (Matt), Rhyne Davenport (Cody), and Emily Davenport, and 2 great-grandchildren Lexi Jane Ireland, and Daniel Levi Ireland.
Also surviving are her siblings, Mary Ellen (Charles)Cox, Betty Jean Tanner, Martha (Bruce) Simpson, Ricky (Jackie) Wood, Leroy (Brenda) Wood, Charlie Wood, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Donny Ruff, Matt Ireland, Vince Cox, Charles Cox, Cody Costlow, and Bobby Wood.
A service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Olive Vine Baptist Church at 132 Olive Vine Church Road, Rydal. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 3:00, with the service to follow immediately afterward.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
