William Mack Riggs, age 80, of Kennesaw, GA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 13, 2018.
Mack was born to Alex and Laura Riggs on November 21, 1937, in Goldsboro, NC. He graduated from Valdosta High School in 1955 and received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He married Ann Smith Harris in 1961, and together they raised 3 children. He leaves as his legacy 3 children: Michael Ann Bellerjeau (Rick), Chip Riggs (Allison), and Randy Riggs (Rita); 6 grandchildren: Amber Bellerjeau, John Bellerjeau, Zach Riggs (Corrie), Daniel Riggs (Makayla), Lily Riggs, and Joseph Riggs; and 1 great-grandchild: Everly Riggs. He also leaves to cherish his memory 2 siblings, Fred Riggs (Jean Riggs) and Toby Riggs. He was preceded in death by Ann Riggs, (wife), Laura Riggs, (mother), and Alex Riggs, (father).
Mack served his country in the US Army Signal Corp from 1961 – 1962. After 17 years in engineering and corporate management, he was called by God to serve the Gospel Ministry. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather, and his passion for sharing the love of Christ with the world was evident to all who knew him. He continued serving faithfully as a partner with Fortress International in China until his death. A private ceremony will be held for the family at the Georgia National Cemetery.
