Samuel Rick Rappa 69, of Acworth GA died Sunday February14th, 2021.Sam was born on January 10th, 1952 in Chicago, Il. He was a retiredsalesman and a Vietnam War Veteran that served in the Navy. Sam was aParalympian and medaled in Archery, Billiards, Downhill Skiing andWeightlifting. He was a successful professional poker player. A skillful cardshark. He was an avid Fisherman. Sam was bold, charismatic, compassionate, aflirt, funny, loving and an excellent listener and friend. Sam was fiercelyloyal to his family and loved being with them. He never met a stranger, everyonehe met was an immediate friend or family. He loved life and all it had tooffer. He will be missed greatly. Samuel is survived by his best friend andcompanion, his wife Diana of 23 years of Acworth GA. Daughter Samantha Layton(Michael), grandsons Noah & Levi. (KY)Son Samuel A. Rappa (Melanie Snow).(FL). Daughter Melanie Pratt (Stephen), grandsons Layne, Zander & Oliver& granddaughter Emerson. (MI)Daughter Celeste Dorsett & Son ShaunDorsett & grandson Jesse. He is also survived by multiple Aunts, Uncles,and cousins, in and around the Chicago and Iowa area. Samuel was preceded indeath by his Father Frank Rappa and Mother Catherine Tiano. A celebration ofhis fabulous life will be held on July 4th 2021, his favorite holiday.
